Elections can be confusing for many people. Who do I vote for? How I do I know what races are happening? What are the important decisions being made? Where do I vote? Voting is an important part of being an active citizen in your community. Here are some links to help you start to answer your questions and prepare for voting this year.

- Register to vote here. You can also register at the county auditor’s office. Find the office here.
Where do I vote (your polling location)? Has it changed since the last time you voted?
- Check here for your voting site.
- If you need to vote via absentee ballot, you can obtain one online or request one from the Secretary of State. Make sure to leave plenty of time to get this done, as there are deadlines that apply.
- Polls are open on election day (Tuesday, November 5) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. CST. Absentee ballots must be received in your county auditor’s office prior to 8 p.m. CST on election day.
