Donations, Gifts, and Memorials

Monetary contributions from individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations help the Library maintain and expand collections, services, and programs.

1. Make a check out to “Friends of Webb Shadle Public Library.” (Cash is also accepted.)
2. Bring check to the front desk during open hours or mail to:

• Gifts
  Celebrate friends and relatives, their birthdays, or other special occasions by making a donation. If your donation supports the purchase of a book, we will place a memorial book plate in the front of the book commemorating the donation.
• Memorials
  Make a memorial donation in honor of a friend, relative, or valued member of the community. The Library will send an acknowledgement to the family of the individual you are honoring (please provide their contact information so we can mail the acknowledgement.)

• Please bring donations of books to the front desk during open hours. Book should be in good condition and not be dirty, overly worn, or fragrant.
• Stop by the desk  when you get to the library if you have larger donations. We may not be able to accept excessively large donations such as a truck load.
• Once our inventory needs are met we may decline to accept donations.
• Donations we cannot use, we may place in storage to let our Friends group sell at their regular book sales, the funds of which also support the library.
